Zemanta - blogging content tool

Blog better using ZemantaImage by chucks via Flickr
Testing the Zemanta blogging tool Firefox extension.

Since I use a Greasemonkey script to widen the Blogger post editor, I find the Zemanta content selection box gets in the way and doesn't move. I wish I could drag it out of the way, or close it when I don't need it any more. To be fair, I've been exploring for only 30 minutes, but that's usually enough time for me to decide if an add-on, plug-in, or application is worth keeping. Zemanta is certainly a keeper. I intend to play with it some more. Maybe it does move and/or close when not needed.

The image, image caption, "Related articles by Zemanta," and "Reblog" button are all added by the tool with a few clicks. Click the image caption link or any one of the related article links and you'll be taken to the source. Click the "Reblog" link and a text editor appears where you'll have the option to send the post to your own blog.

Very cool. I like it.
